Summer Food Service for the FGSD is fast approaching and our success depends on generous community volunteers! If you would like to volunteer to help serve meals this summer at our summer sites, please visit our sign-up genius link.
Given the current social distancing requirements, many aspects of our program have changed this year and we will be covering all this and more at our two live training events. If you would like to volunteer, please attend one of two training dates, either Wednesday June 10th 5pm - 6pm or Saturday June 13th 10am-11am. Both will be held at the Forest Grove School District Office in the Grove Room (1728 Main Street in Forest Grove). The training material will be identical at both, so you need only attend one.
We ask that folks come prepared to socially distance, and masks will be requested. If you would like to volunteer, but cannot attend an in-person training, please take time to review the training materials at the following link, print and sign the Acknowledgement Form and bring it with you on your first day of volunteering. Attending the in-person training is recommended, but not mandatory, but we ask all volunteers to review and sign the Acknowledgement Form at a minimum.

FGSD's Summer Food Service Program is back beginning June 15. We will serve Monday through Friday, June 15th through August 28th! Children under 18 can come to any of the serving sites and will be served breakfast AND lunch. Text "Food" or "Comida" to 877-877 to find the site closest to you!
The current meal distribution will end June 12th, and the sites and times listed below go into effect Monday, June 15th. Please contact the Nutrition Services Department with any questions (503-359-8110 x 4524).
